We’re So Happy FCCC Is Here to Help!
Our Saviour continues to be delighted that we partnered with Fauquier Community Child Care (FCCC) to provide day care for children of essential personnel. This critical need created by COVID-19 presents our church with the opportunity to demonstrate God’s Work, Our Hands!

Helping Our Neighbors
Through this time of Stay-at-Home orders and furloughs our neighbors are in more need than ever. Over the next three months, we will highlight organizations that Our Saviour actively supports throughout the year. Each month we will expand our circle of neighbors, from local, to statewide, to worldwide. This month, we have a unique opportunity to give locally.
Support Our Local Nonprofits
Members of Our Saviour support many local groups and nonprofit organizations with their time, talents, and treasure. We serve as board members, volunteers, and clients. We freely give of our financial resources. We often see directly the results of this support. The annual Give Local Piedmont appeal is an easy way to help our local neighbors through our local nonprofit organizations.
How do you give? It’s simple. Anytime on May 5, visit www.givelocalpiedmont.org. If you prefer, you can pre-schedule your donation online anytime through May 4.
Go to the website above, select the organization(s) you want to support from the list, click on its “DONATE NOW” button and make your donation ($10 minimum). You can include more than one organization in a single transaction. Just click and donate to as many as you want. Donations may be tax-deductible.
OSLC actively supports:
People Helping People
Fauquier Habitat for Humanity
Fauquier Community Child Care, Inc. (FCCC)
Fauquier FISH – Food Pantry

Grateful for Your Donations!
We are extremely grateful for the continued offerings!
OSLC depends on weekly donations to keep the church operational. With your help, OSLC continues to be the church even while we can’t meet in person. Your willingness to invest your time, talents, and financial resources matters!
to help you consider ways you can share a gift and make an impact.

Adult Bible Study via Zoom: The Lord’s Prayer
The best-known prayer in the world is the one Jesus taught us. But how well do we really know it? Let’s dive into its history, its use and, above all, its meaning. Pastor Michael will teach a Bible Study via Zoom. It will meet on Thursdays at 5:00 pm beginning May 7. To join, click the button below or call 646-876-9923 and enter the Meeting ID: 895 0940 7035.
Helping Ministries Continue in Challenging Times
Led by Mark Knisely, our Continuity of Ministry Committee has met almost weekly since first created at the March council meeting. Members are Mark Knisely, both pastors, Troy Stansell, Cathy Cogdill, Brad Stewart, Cathy Miller, Laurie Sanders, and Jerry Hoke. They function to keep all of us safe and to keep ministries going in these unusual times, and they are just starting to work on a plan to bring us back together, step by step, whenever it is safe to do so.
