Praising God in Warrenton

On the Feast of Pentecost, Christians remember the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples of Jesus, giving them the gifts they needed to spread the Gospel to every nation. In our calendar, this festival marks the beginning of a special time of the year, sometimes called the Time of the Church, or Ordinary Time, or simply the Season of Pentecost. In North America, this coincides with summer and autumn. It is a time devoted not so much to feasting and fasting as to mission and ministry, to following the first Christians as we share the story of God’s love with all people.
