O come, let us adore Him!
Christmas Eve Worship — Thursday, December 24
Drive-In Worship @ 4:00 pm
Welcome the Christ Child with the whole church from the safety and comfort of your car (listen on your car radio; FM station to be announced onsite). We will sing carols, hear and see the Christmas story (spoiler alert: Holy Family visit), and pray for the peace that the angels proclaimed. We have a special Christmas book for all families with children who attend this service. If we have enough, we will also give them to grandparents or others in attendance to share with little ones in their lives. Come celebrate with us!
(If possible, we will broadcast this service on our Facebook page as well; however, we will not be managing the chat features nor promising to keep the stream going if we run into problems. Click here to access the online bulletin for this service.)
Online Lessons and Carols Worship @ 7:00 pm
Pull up our Facebook page to join us for a Premier Christmas Lessons and Carols service! Join Voices of Praise by the fire to sing traditional carols and hear the Story of Jesus from the Bible. The Handbell Choir’s rendition of The Little Drummer Boy will remind us that Jesus loves and accepts us just as we are.
Online Vigil Worship @ 11:00 pm
Pull up our Facebook page to join us for a Premier Christmas Eve service. A mass choir by the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians will thrill our “midnight mass,” and Dean Kolb will offer some multi-part, a cappella music. Organist Barbara Hoke and others will share Christmas music in both new and old ways. The Christmas liturgy and carols will feel familiar and remind us of the old nativity story once more.
