Farewell to one of Warrenton’s Finest
David Allan Flohr
March 1, 1956 – August 6, 2018

David Allan Flohr, 62, of Warrenton, VA passed away on August 6, 2018 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He was born on March 1, 1956 in Warrenton, VA, a son of Rose Kratzmeier Flohr and the late Louis S. Flohr, Jr.
Dave served with the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Department under four different Sheriffs from the beginning of his career, October 15, 1975 until his retirement with the rank of Colonel in 2009. After his retirement he continued to work with the Sheriff’s Department as a civilian employee. He was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Warrenton.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kelley; his children, Justin Flohr, Elizabeth Flohr, Lexi Flohr and Rodney Woodward, Jr.; sisters, Linda Bowen and Arlene Kirtley; nieces, nephews and a large extended family of friends.
Arrangements
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug. 12 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton where funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 13 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton. Lunch at Our Saviour to follow.
