Holy Communion Classes 2023
Do This in Remembrance of Me Dear Parents and Guardians, At the table of our Lord Jesus Christ, God nourishes faith, forgives sin, and calls us to be witnesses to the gospel. OSLC will begin instruction of Holy Communion class to all 5th grade students on Sunday, February 26th. Holden Evening Prayer – Wednesday Evenings in Lent (2023)
Holden Evening Prayer – Every Wednesday “Let my prayer rise up like incense before you.” (Psalm 141) We will join in prayer and song each Wednesday evening in Lent, to strengthen one another in faith and hope. Ladies’ Bible Study:
One Thousand Gifts
Please join Barbara Brown and other ladies of the church on Tuesday mornings at 10am in the church’s Library to study, pray and grow in faith together. Confirmation Education
Confirmation teaches baptized Christians who wish to become Lutheran Martin Luther’s theology on the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, Baptism, Confession, and the Eucharist. … Students usually take confirmation classes through 7th and 8th grade. For enrollment, contact the church office or one of the pastors.

Senior High Youth Group
Calling All Senior High Youth! Let’s try a new thing! Beginning September 21, youth group meetings will be held on Wednesday nights at 6:00 in the youth room (rm. # 7 off the Fellowship Hall). Contemporary Weekly Worship

Sunday School for Children and Youth
We have an active Sunday School program at OSLC that start from age 2 up through adult. Children in the 5th grade and under begin each Sunday at 9:00 in the main sanctuary with an opening prayer and then go to their classes. Young adults and adults meet in other rooms of the church. Adult Sunday School Class — The Gospel of Mark
Join us Sunday mornings in Lent as we read and study the Gospel of Mark. Mark is thought to be the first Gospel written. It is the shortest Gospel. In Mark, we see the most human side of Jesus. Prayer Shawl Ministry resumes monthly meetings starting Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 4:00-5:00 pm.
