The Virginia Synod of the ELCA maintains a partnership with our global companion Synod, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Our relationship with our siblings in PNG is rooted in accompaniment and together we work to build up the body of Christ. In August, our own Pastor Michael traveled with a group of people from around the synod to worship and learn together in Papua New Guinea.
